Beginner rock climbing course

Learn outdoor rock climbing from scratch with basic technique, safety systems and gear included.

Beginner rock climbing course

This course is designed for people who want to start outdoor rock climbing in Valencia from zero. We cover harness fitting, figure-eight knot, belaying, communication, footwork and basic movement reading so you understand the safety system and enjoy your first vertical day.

The day combines explanation, demonstration and supervised practice. The aim is not to memorise terms, but to understand what each part of the system does: rope, harness, belay device, carabiners, knots, communication and belayer position. Progression is adapted so each person climbs with confidence.

We also work on basic movement technique: footwork, balance, hip position, resting and hold reading. This is the recommended course if you want to learn outdoor climbing, try sport climbing safely or build a solid base before moving into coaching.
